its funny how forgetful we people are..was just browsing through the kjv bible in my bro’s phone-the book of colossians actually, and came across familiar verses that has probably be repeated >10times in my entire life time (and even more so in the last sem of CE classes) :

Colossians3

as much as this sounds elitist, i’ve come to conclude (after 2years of education) that raffles is a school of excellence & substance.lots of it too!

today’s farewall assembly wasnt tear-provoking, but it bring about some thoughts about the nature of the school & its students. personally, its hard to deny the fact that there are indeed many overachievers (and im not saying this in neg way) that swarm the premises…these people are purely brilliant & with the hard work they’re willing to put in- they always get their desired results.i never really believed that pure intelligence will get you anywhere w/o hardwork, but there are really gifted individuals out there who make get >12 dean lists in 2yrs look easy peasy. i dont think i totally fit in this kind of culture of brilliance- im just being realistic, maybe im 60% there but for now, im content with my personal progress(: theres no doubt that many will be future leaders of the economy, civil service, healthcare sector..& when that time comes, i’ll be blessed to have them as my friends(:

last official day of school tmwr..its kinda sad but macs breakfast twmr with my dear friends- one starbucks addict, one fatty going back to her motherland to study, another one who claims to study alone all the time hehe.

joshua cooked chilli crab ystdy & i really feel pampered heh(: had the opportunity to send him off ystdy night..He’ll be God’s Good Hands in the midst of all the training & looming typhoon warnings. 20days left wahh this is going to be painful. luckily theres the intensive revision period of occupy my thoughts.

exciting week alth im going back to some of my notes tmwr- monday is yy present shopping, 1st anniversary gift ideas.wed:movie & meetup with sc girls.fri:mel’s bday surprise.sat: dinner with favourite boy..it HAS been a long year wow.

want to thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful weekend of learning..its been 2days without me touching my school books and instead, i spent saturday & sunday going to church early to discuss BS with ju, then yf..sunday service, CE class, family devotion.its a different kind of satisfaction & peace yknow, something that might not be measurable but bring a kind of overwhelming growth(:

its  been a week of good sharing with joshua about our values we hold so dear to our heart & i cannot say how happy i am to have someone who is so in tandem in terms of most of our thinking processes & attitudes(:
