more ups than downs

ok i hurt my back after contemp pract yesterday- after all the back tosses and bridges, i think i stretched my body too far already ): its no joke not being able to bend down and pick up things off the floor normally. the best thing was that when i woke up this morning, it hurt quite bad when i bent over the sink to brush my teeth- AHH. this is definitely not good news because dance night is in 2 weeks plus plus. physio appointment tomorrow at six, i hope the heat treatment and massage will help

my 1st ever Chem SPA was held today- its seemed so surreal because it didnt seem too far long ago when i got my O level results back and Cambridge has come back so quickly to haunt me again. but its funny, because i really dont regret taking Os nor going to SC. if i had the chance to choose a different school or education cirriculum, i wouldnt change the path i’ve taken (: many people ask, isnt it difficult to integrate into RJ since non-RP students form the minority? really, having a smaller social circle compared to others doesnt matter that much when you look at the big picture- for now, im so thankful for the small but close circle of friends i have right now

exco elections were out today! i was successful in banishing all the nervousness and thoughts away from my mind throughout the whole of today. i guess,the more i expect out of myself, the greater the disappointment should i fail to meet my expectations. but Praise Him for giving this chance to hone my leadership skills and allow me to be a better leader, friend through the many experiences i will go through as vice-chair. i couldnt ask for more, and im thankful for the position the current exco has entrusted me with me (: its really great that yueyun is the next chairperson, bcos i’ve known her for eons and working with her would definitely be one less obstacle i’ll have to overcome. i remember yueyun and I saying that it would be so cool if we could both be chair or vice-chair together, and i guess things just worked out that way (:

this is quite amusing because looking at my blog statistics, 32 people visited this wordpress blog yesterday.

okay enough rambling, have to get back to work ): the econs essay test tomorrow totally slipped my mind
